On December 5, 2018, an employer, NIS representative - Tkachenko Tatyana Anatolievna was invited to a lesson on the subject “General Basics of Pedagogy” in Abay Myrzakhmetov Kokshetau University. She is a teacher with extensive experience in training teachers in the system of advanced training "Orleu".
Tatyana Anatolievna addressed the students of the specialty “Pedagogy and Psychology”, “Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education”, “Preschool Education and Upbringing”, “Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge” with the topic “System of criteria-based assessment within the framework of renewal of secondary education in the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
In her speech, she noted that the opportunities for professional growth of a teacher are conditioned by the level of knowledge of the whole range of skills of self-education and self-study: searching, understanding and processing of psychological and pedagogical information; critical analysis of various positions and approaches in the modern theory of education; the implementation of independent research activities; prompt, effective and creative solution of various professional tasks; awareness of the results of pedagogical activity and a perspective view of the possibilities for its improvement; flexible restructuring of professional behavior, taking into account the constantly changing conditions of the educational process; incorporation of new information into existing operational experience; rapid response to modern demands of society and the profession, etc.
The current requirements for domestic education are due to the need to ensure accelerated socio-economic development of Kazakhstan, the need for training professional personnel with managerial competence and adaptive and creative readiness for activities in high-tech production and innovative market development .
The concept of long-term socio-economic development of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2020 puts forward, above all, new social requirements for the system not only of school, but also of pedagogical education, enhancing their qualification activities, through various courses conducted by government institutions. Developing society needs educated, enterprising people who can make responsible decisions, predicting possible consequences, capable of cooperation, initiative and independent, characterized by mobility. The “Development Strategy of Kazakhstan until 2050” noted that the leading factor of economic and social breakthroughs in the coming century are “people themselves, their will, energy, perseverance, knowledge”, and the main principle of the development of society in the XXI century will be the nation’s competitiveness, first of all, the level of education. Therefore, one of the priority directions of the state educational policy in the country is the design of an innovative, adapted, competent and professionally-oriented education system, aimed at supporting and developing children and young people as an invaluable asset and the main intellectual and creative potential of the state capable of taking key places in state management, economy, science and culture.
The transition to a competently-oriented school, in which the professional level of teachers, a specially created educational environment are the basis for building a special model of teaching and educating children, requires updating the content, selecting methods and improving the technology of the educational process. Thus, the focus is concentrated on education as a flexible tool for expanding and realizing the life potential that provides modern career opportunities for highly intellectual youth. Education, social progress and the future of the country are inextricably linked and interdependent. The education system is a special sphere of human activity, which affects the interests of each person, the interests of the whole society. By carrying out a purposeful development and upbringing of the younger generation, the education system thus prepares new social relations, a new way of life of the people of Kazakhstan.
In the period of scientific and technological progress, the role of a person with professional training and a scientific worldview is increasing. For all spheres of human life material, cultural, socio-political, an increasing role is played by their level of education, culture, and civil responsibility. Due to the fact, that a comprehensive school does not fully solve this problem, special infrastructures are being built and functioning in Kazakhstan: the autonomous educational organization Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools (hereinafter AOO NISH), which includes a network of elite schools for gifted children (hereinafter NIS), such branches as the Center for Educational Programs, the Center for Educational Resources, the Center for Educational Excellence, the Center for Pedagogical Measurements and others, on the basis of which specialized training programs, systems of evaluating student learning attainments that meet global educational standards are created.
